Head of Safeguarding Partnerships

Rate: Negotiable

Hours: Full time

Venn Group are currently working with a Local Authority who are looking for a Head of Safeguarding Partnerships for a 3 month period.

Main duties of the job:

  • Accountable for ensuring duties and responsibilities are effectively discharged in accordance with government guidance and legislation, which will require a breadth of knowledge related to children’s and adults safeguarding legislation, national guidance and frameworks
  • Strategic lead for multi-agency safeguarding working and promoting the breadth of work of the Safeguarding Children Partnership and Safeguarding Adults Board amongst staff at all levels, within partner agencies and in the wider community in order to maximise confidence in local child protection, adult welfare and safeguarding systems
  • Actively develop partnerships, relationships and activities that foster collaboration, trust and support for effective multi-agency working

The successful candidate would need to have worked in a similar role before.
