Due to record growth in their Civil Engineering Practice they are looking for an Associate Director in Civil Structural Engineering to join them.
You will play a vital role in the growth of their heavy civil engineering business. You will get the exciting opportunity to work on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure and the chance to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
They specialise in all aspects of heavy civil engineering, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Defence, Energy, Cities & Development and Water. They continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
- Own and direct teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Defining briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Grow, develop and manage heavy civil engineering capability within the practice.
To be suitable for the role you will:
- Be a Chartered Civil / or Structural Engineer
- Have Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Hold Comprehensive knowledge in design and analysis of heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and/or steel with experience across all design phases and construction.
- Be Familiar with current design standards and working practices
