Junior Building Physics Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplined building services consultancy who provide expert MEP solutions to the construction industry. Their sustainability team is expanding, and they are looking for an ambitious individual to join them in their Manchester offices as a Junior Building Physics Engineer.

Key responsibilities for a Junior Building Physics Engineer:

  • Use IES-VE software to optimise building performance of construction projects
  • Carry out overheating assessments, daylight calculations, and operational energy analysis
  • Produce energy and sustainability reports for clients within a timely manner
  • Help better clients understanding on Part O and Part L

The ideal Junior Building Physics Engineer:

  • Relevant degree within a sustainability, energy, architecture, or engineering discipline
  • Relevant experience in a Building Physics Engineering role
  • Experience with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis
  • Familiarity with UK Building Regulations such as Part L and Part O
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
