an opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading company specializing in luxury office fit-outs and refurbishments. This is a permanent role, ideally suited for candidates based in or can reliably commute toManchester, overseeing multiple projects ranging from 1k to 2m.
The company operates in a fast-paced, high-quality environment and is looking for a driven individual with a strong eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering projects to the highest standards.
Role Overview
- Oversee mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and budget control.
- Coordinate site activities, liaising with subcontractors, site managers, and internal teams.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager to turn project plans into reality.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure smooth project progression.
- Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise on-site.
- Handle health and safety documentation and ensure compliance.
- Produce valuations, final accounts, and project handover documentation.
Ideal Candidate
- At least five years of experience in a trade background, looking to take the next step in their career.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects at different stages.
- A confident communicator who can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of delivery.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive projects forward.
- Must hold a valid driving license.
