Our client is a successful M&E contractor and they are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their team to work on a new-build residential & commercial conversion project;MEP value of 30million, in Manchester city centre. You will be working with our client's parent main contractor company, on one of Manchester's most iconic buildings & work is set to last until 2028. Our clienthas offices in the North-West and this is a unique opportunity to be part of a company that has a strong reputation in the industry.
The Role and its Responsibilities
The Mechanical Project Manager will be responsible for managing the mechanical installation of this project which is in the pre-construction phase, so the successful candidate will manage the full 'cradle to grave' process.
TheMechanical Project Manager will be client-facing and largely site-based, overseeing the project from start to finish.
The Individual
The successfulcandidate will be a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager with extensive experience managing large projects.The successful candidate must be capable of demonstrating strong client-facing skills, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to manage a project from cradle to grave.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as aMechanicalProject Manager, preferably on large-scale commercial/residential projects.
- Strong understanding ofmechanical systems, some electrical awareness is also advantageous
- Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to foster strong client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage project budgets effectively.
- Ability to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
