Senior Building Physics Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading building services consultancy who provide expert energy and design services to the built environment. They are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Building Physics Engineer to join their building performance team in their Manchester offices.

The responsibilities for a Senior Building Physics Engineer will include:

  • Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon services across all stages of their projects
  • Be a key figure in spreading the clients' key values at meetings and professional network conventions
  • Identify and obtain opportunities for the client to enhance personal career development and enhancement
  • Mentor the more junior members of the team and help nurture their career development

The ideal Senior Building Physics Engineer:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Building Physics or Sustainability engineering role
  • Proficient in industry relevant software such as IES-VE to carry out energy modelling
  • Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
  • Ideally be an accredited NABERS Assessor and have a CIBSE accreditation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
