Brownlee Cale are working with a Civil Engineering firm who are hiring Senior Civil Engineers in Manchester.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Manage and oversee the development of detailed design solutions, calculations, and reports.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the development of their skills and capabilities.
- Attend project meetings, providing expert advice and recommendations to the project team and clients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural engineering designs into larger project frameworks.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects, providing technical expertise and input.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout all stages of project delivery.
Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng, BEng, or equivalent).
- Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it (e.g., through the Institution of Civil Engineers or the Institution of Structural Engineers).
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure and building projects.
