Job Description:
As a Site Engineer with theirteam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of residential construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of our developments, providing technical support, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all site engineering activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Set out sites accurately, using the latest technology and techniques.
- Provide technical advice and resolve engineering-related issues on-site.
- Work closely with the site management team to ensure smooth project progression.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including quality checks and cost control.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Prepare and review construction drawings, ensuring they meet required standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within the residential house building sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, site engineering, and building regulations.
- Experience with setting out, leveling, and surveying on-site.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site teams.
- A valid CSCS card and other relevant certifications.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
