- Conducting fire safety inspections of buildings
- Working closely with the construction team to ensure safety regulations are followed
- Providing expert advice on fire safety measures
- Developing fire safety plans and procedures
- Training staff on fire safety procedures
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant fire safety regulations
- Preparing safety reports for management
- Responding to fire safety incidents in a timely and effective manner
Profile
A successful Building Safety Officer (Fire) should have:
- A certification or degree in Fire Safety or a related field
- Experience working in the Not For Profit sector
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations
- Experience working with construction teams
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
