ML62- Chartered Building Surveyor.Salary: £55,000- £60,000.Location: Manchester.Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead & develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the Client and senior colleagues.
- Establish & maintain client relationships.
- Support business development activities by senior colleagues.
- Carry out site surveys, including measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis.
- Produce designs and specifications, including preparation of tender documentation.
- Administer building contracts (JCT and NEC).
- Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work, including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall consultancy, dilapidations, insurance inspections, claims advice, and Reinstatement Cost Assessment valuations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants (internal and external).
- Assist the team leader with project finances, recruitment, mentoring, and team leadership.
Skills and qualifications:
- Relevant degree qualified – RICS approved.
- MRICS Chartered.
- Experience advising on commercial, healthcare, or educational properties in the public or private sector.
- Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills.
- Competent with NBS Chorus.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary: £55,000- £60,000.Location: Manchester.
