Description
Asbestos Vacancy:
Working as part of the Repairs & Servicing Team you will provide invaluable support to the Compliance Delivery Manager (Housing) to ensure that our statutory obligations are met. The successful candidate will be overseeing the relevant contractor responsible for asbestos removal and surveying thereby ensuring the delivery of statutory and regulatory compliance.
You will promote and influence asbestos compliance and the associated procedures that are developed to safeguard the health and safety of all stakeholders, including staff, visitors, contractors, and members of the public.
The post holder will also perform a wide range of asbestos monitoring, encompassing management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys. They will inspect contractors' remediation work, either approving removal efforts or rejecting unsatisfactory procedures and provide key stakeholders with professional and courteous service, addressing inquiries and offering specialised advice and interpretations when necessary.
Fire Safety Vacancy:
You will be responsible for ensuring that the requirements of all relevant legislation, regulation and required guidance is adhered to and that best practice is implemented. Working as part of the Repairs & Servicing Team you will provide invaluable support to the Compliance Delivery Manager (Housing) to ensure that our statutory obligations are met.
The successful candidate will be overseeing the relevant contractor responsible for fire safety measures thereby ensuring the delivery of statutory and regulatory compliance.
You will lead on the fire risk assessment programme, evaluate the identified hazards, and take necessary actions to reduce or eliminate them. They will be the subject matter expert with regards to fire safety on refurbishment and programmed maintenance work relating to the fire safety installations, such as fire doors, compartmentation, emergency lighting and fire safety systems for the housing stock .
Electrical Vacancy:
To ensure that the requirements of all relevant legislation, regulation and required guidance is adhered to and that best practice is implemented for electrical and lift safety in respect of residential homes.
To work as part of the Repairs & Servicing Team and provide invaluable support to the Compliance Contracts Manager (Housing) to ensure that our statutory obligations in relation to electrical and lift safety are met.
The successful candidate will be overseeing the relevant contractor responsible for electrical and lifts thereby ensuring the delivery of statutory and regulatory compliance.
