Job Description: As a Fire and Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and service of fire and security systems within commercial and residential premises across Manchester and surrounding areas. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and compliance of these systems, contributing to the overall safety and security of our clients. Responsibilities: - Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarm systems. - Perform fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs on existing systems to ensure optimal functionality.

- Install and commission new fire and security systems as required, adhering to relevant industry standards and regulations.

- Conduct system testing and inspections to identify potential issues or vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate solutions.

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, service, and installation activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and documentation requirements.

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client queries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

- Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to contribute to the overall success of projects and initiatives.

- Stay updated with the latest industry developments, technologies, and regulations, continuously enhancing technical knowledge and skills. Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer, with expertise in maintaining and servicing fire alarm systems, CCTV systems, access control systems, and intruder alarm systems.

- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. - Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management and organizational skills.

- Full UK driving license is essential. - Relevant certifications such as FIA units, ECS/CSCS card, or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
