Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service, repairs, and small works related to fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and conduct small works on fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Cover the Manchester area, attending call-outs and being on call as required
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Manage van stock efficiently and effectively
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire and Security Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving license

Day-to-day

  • Respond to service calls and perform necessary repairs
  • Ensure that all work is in line with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers and provide updates on work progress
  • Manage van stock and inventory efficiently
