Our client is seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their dedicated team. With offices in the North West, they offer comprehensive building control services, primarily focusing on residential projects, but also working on commercial ventures. Covering areas North of Birmingham, this role is central to ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of building projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting 4-5 building inspections daily within assigned projects
  • Ensuring all building works comply with relevant regulations and standards
  • Preparing and issuing detailed inspection reports
  • Managing up to (Apply online only) live projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance
  • Attending office once a week to collaborate with the team and discuss project progress
  • Liaising with contractors, architects, and clients to provide expert advice on building control matters
  • Reviewing plans and ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before construction begins
  • Promoting and upholding high standards of safety and workmanship across all projects


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in building control or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance standards
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed and accurate reports
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders
  • Committed to maintaining a high standard of safety and quality
  • Relevant qualifications in building control or a related field
