Job description

Vox Network Consultants are looking to speak to Senior Fire Engineers on behalf of a brilliant client considered an industry leader as well as an excellent employer. The growing team has delivered challenging projects in the UK and globally across multiple sectors servicing a loyal client base.

Job overview:

As a senior engineer, your main role will be to lead large, complex projects, support graduates and engineers with mentoring and add technical excellence to an already dynamic and talented team.

Responsibilities/expectations:


  • Lead large complex projects (such as RIBA Stage 4 & 5 packages, existing buildings, and external wall work) while utilising a team of engineers with support from the project manager when required.
  • Considerate and committed to commercial risk management and to Health, Safety & Wellbeing of associated team members.
  • Overseeing the team and supporting those superior (i.e., Associate and above).
  • Strive to deliver my clients values in all areas of work.
  • Contribute to technical excellence - Full understanding of design codes, engineering principles and in different sectors, which is utilised externally and internally.
  • Generating a large portion of work required to contribute towards team target while maintaining effective working relationships internally and with clients.
  • Coaching & mentoring to ensure effective teamwork and staff wellbeing. Reviewing and commenting on Graduate and Engineer's work.
