Hayley Group Limited has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Key Account Co-ordinator to join our well-established and experienced team based at our Manchester branch in our Rail Division. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

We are seeking a Key Account Co-ordinator to oversee the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, reviewing forecasts, coordinating with the supply chain, and maintaining regular communication with customers to ensure optimal inventory levels and seamless operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to foster positive relationships with both internal teams and external customers. Knowledge of fasteners, PPE and other MRO products would be highly desirable.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities as our Key Account Co-ordinator will include:

  • Manage customer accounts and ensure timely and accurate execution of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes.
  • Review demand forecasts and inventory levels to optimise stock levels and meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure efficient inventory replenishment and distribution.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates on inventory status.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, logistics, and production to fulfil customer orders and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Analyse inventory performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and cultivate strong relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Key Account Co-ordinator:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fasteners, PPE and other MRO products would be highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a sales environment would be beneficial.
  • Proficient in the use of basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn about new technologies and products.
