Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading firm in Central Manchester.

Ideal for an ACA/ ACCA qualified individual working in practice looking for the next step up in their career with an excellent work life balance.

Will involve managing a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients from an array of sectors, providing (monthly and year end) accounts services with regular client liaison.

Part of the role will also involve mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work so you will ideally be technically proficient in FRS102 and cloud accounting software.

The Role:

Managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts under FRS102
Preparation and review of management reporting packs
Review of management accounts
Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Business advisory work
Advising/ training clients on accountancy software
Providing technical support to Partners
Leading client meetings
Business development

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
Experience of managing a client portfolio
Strong financial and management reporting experience
Excellent working knowledge of FRS102
A strong background in UK accountancy practice
Good communication skills
