Our client is one of the top 10 asset managers globally, they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Security) to join their Enterprise Security & Fraud team. The focus is on delivering secure and seamless login experiences while safeguarding against cyberattacks, this is a newly formed team in Europe and helps to defend hundreds of thousands of clients across the UK/Europe.

Salary: £70-£75k + £10k (guaranteed bonus) + 20% (discretionary bonus)

Hybrid: 2-3 x a week in Manchester Office

Key Requirements:

  • Expertise in Cloud Computing and Cloud Services (preferred is AWS)
  • Strong understanding of coding fundamentals in TypeScript and Node
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles including IAM (e.g., OAuth2. Ping Identity), networking, and encryption

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks e.g., React/Angular
  • Familiarity with microservices based architecture
