This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Sales person to join a fast paced, professional business selling hardware and software products. Excellent Commission achieveable.

They supply media products, consumables, printers and finishing machinery to digital large-format printing customers, as well as technical services which includes customer advice, training and breakdown support.

The area that would be your responsibility is anywhere from Birmingham up to Scotland, which offers great opportunities for new business. You will also be working wiht a very healthy database of over 3000 active customers.

You will be working with the regional Sales Teams, in particular the Business Development and New Business teams.

The role involves the following:

  • Contacting customers to discuss business needs and achieving sales from hardware opportunities in new and existing accounts
  • Creating tenders and business proposals to win large business accounts
  • Developing and maintaining a sales pipeline of target customer accounts in which to grow sales
  • Attending customer meetings and building relationships to fully understand customer needs, their business model, operations and identify opportunities to sell the products & services.
  • Delivering effective demonstrations to customers in order to win business and achieve sales
  • Promoting any specific marketing plans or initiatives.
  • Working with the Technical Support team to identify how they can support customers further.
  • Maintaining the internal knowledge and data systems with market and competitor info, client feedback.
  • Updating CRM, system processes, and customer account records.

Experience preferred

  • Proven experience in a technical sales role, ideally selling large format equipment and software though this is NOT essential if from a similar background.
  • Confident in making sales calls and visiting clients sites.
  • A great track-record of business growth with new and existing clients, experience working to targets.

Personal Requirements

  • Possess a positive, 'can-do’ attitude, tenacious and resilient.
  • Enjoys fostering great client relationships to achieve sales growth and win new business
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and customers.
  • Organised and methodical, able to manage own day to maximise productivity
  • Good IT skills, able to use CRM and Microsoft
