Business Development Executive

Location: Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Bristol

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity with a sector-driven, technology-focused law firm? Our client, a leading global firm, is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their team in either Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Bristol.

Our client is a Future Facing firm with a global presence, combining deep local market understanding with a worldwide perspective.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a business development team supporting the firm's global Energy, Projects, and Construction Practice Group and the Energy and Infrastructure Sectors. These market-leading groups work for some of the firm's largest clients and household names on high-profile projects, transactions, and disputes. In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:

  • Pitching to existing and prospective clients
  • Assisting with key account management
  • Preparation of marketing materials and communications
  • Preparation of directory and award submissions
  • Coordination of client events
  • Promotion of thought leadership
  • Maintenance of firm databases

About You:

  • Ideally have some previous Marketing & BD experience within a professional services environment
  • Strong written and verbal skills and confidence in dealing with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to analyse complex information and present key points concisely
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, can-do approach with a drive to support the growth of the business and your own professional career
