Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function of a well-established roofing contractor specializing in commercial and industrial roofing projects. Based in Oldham, this role requires a commercially astute individual with a strong background in cost management, contract negotiation, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the commercial aspects of multiple roofing projects from pre-construction to final account.

Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and risk mitigation.

Prepare and oversee cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.

Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying any risks or opportunities.

Work closely with the project and operations teams to support delivery and profitability.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships.

Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role within the roofing, cladding, or wider construction industry.

Strong understanding of contract law, cost control, and commercial strategy.
