As The Head of Buying:

  • Lead & Inspire: Motivate and develop the Product Team, ensuring they have the tools, skills, and direction to create groundbreaking designs while maintaining the commercial focus that drives the business.
  • Shape the Vision: Execute the vision of the Creative Director, turning big ideas into actionable, profitable products that capture the essence of the brand.
  • Market Intelligence: Always be one step ahead by identifying trends, researching consumer demands, and predicting what will make customers tick.
  • You'll define the seasonal colour palette, graphic direction, and overall product strategy.
  • Balance Innovation & Profit: Bring fresh, innovative, and trend-led ideas to the table, but also make sure they align with commercial goals.
  • Collaborate & Execute: Work seamlessly with Buying, Design, Tech, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to create a product mix that maximises revenue opportunities.
  • Maximise Sales: Be data-driven, working closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams to refine SKU plans, ensuring the right product is in the right category at the right time.
  • Supplier Relationships: Nurture key relationships with current suppliers and scout for new ones, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring quality and cost are both delivered.
  • You'll ensure product standards are met and exceeded while maintaining competitive margins.
  • Global Insight: Travel to trade shows, fashion capitals, and factories to stay at the cutting edge of the industry,
  • Critical Path Management: Own the product development calendar, making sure all deadlines are hit, and teams are aligned to deliver on time, every time.
