This truly is a one-off opportunity! Working with a dynamic and disruptive global Medical Device business the International Business Development Director - EMEA and N. America - will be responsible for driving revenue and growth through not traditional / inorganic opportunities. Specifically, this will involve the identification, engagement, negotiation, risk / reward assessment and closure of opportunities within -

  • Joint Ventures
  • Strategic Alliances
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Identification and development of new clinical areas of opportunity

Working at C-Suite level with both internal and external stakeholders the appointed person will have significant autonomy for (and responsibility for reporting on)

  • International non-traditional Business Development Strategy
  • Targeting and researching opportunities
  • Negotiating and executing transactions
  • Leading BD governance processes

Current clinical exposure / market areas -

  • Ultrasound
  • Endoscopy
  • Infection Prevention
  • Additional clinical uses sought and possible

Applicant -

  • A senior, strategic Business Development professional from the Medical Device market
  • International Experience ideally
  • Proven Track record of success throughout their career
  • Proven high level negotiation skills - C-Suite is essential
  • Experience within Endoscopy, Infection Prevention, Ultrasound, Endoscopy would be VERY advantageous
  • Broad, deep, knowledge of the medical device sector and ideally contacts and advocacy networks to leverage….
