Our Client is a leading UK merchant banking group providing lending, deposit taking, wealth management services and securities trading..

They are currently looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director to join their Invoice Finance Sales Team where you will promote their services and products directly to end users and third parties; achieving the set sales target whilst always maintaining the reputation of the business.

Focusing on a territory in the North-West (flexible), the ideal candidate will be based locally and have experience traveling regionally to meet customers.

To be successful in the role, You will have relevant experience selling Invoice Finance facilities up to £3m, you will need to be highly motivated and target driven. You'll have a proven track record of building rapport with both customers and internal stakeholders as well as achieving (or ideally exceeding) sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain ongoing professional relationships with third party introducers.
  • Attend business development events and social functions
  • Manage the workflow of approved new business files to the point where first payment is made.
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the New Business Support Team.
  • Comply with money laundering regulations relating to the acquisition of New Business.
  • Provide support to national marketing campaigns.
  • Issue quotations in line with company requirements.
  • Create new business proposals and present them to the appropriate level for signatory sign off.
  • Work with internal stakeholders particularly our Credit team regarding quotes for Non-Recourse business.

Risk & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

  • You have proven sales experience within the Invoice finance industry
  • You are highly motivated and target driven.
  • You have a good understanding of the brand, the products and professional sales techniques.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across the business as well as with external clients and prospects.
  • You have strong numeric, organisational and credit analysis skills, and an ability to write concise and articulate credit proposals.
