Job Title: Business Development Associate
Salary: Up to £30,000 + uncapped bonus
Location: Remote/Hybrid (must be able to commute to Bury for training and induction)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Type: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through B2B channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
- Prospect and win partner business accounts through lead generation to securing contracts.
- Build successful partner customer relationships that increase incremental sales growth.
- Achieve personal sales quota/targets including gross profit and gross margin via sales activities.
- Devise a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector or region.
- High contact of target market via different means to identify, nurture and close new and existing sales opportunities within account base.
- Build a sustainable pipeline of prospects to understand growth opportunities for new lines of business.
- Drive self-development, working closely with your manager to set objectives and plan activities to reach these.
- Any other required duties.
Experience:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications, audio-visual, or office hardware sales/support.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Driver's license essential.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Articulate, driven, positive with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starting, confident, and pioneering attitude.
- Comfortable working in an autonomous environment.
- Comfortable working remotely.
- Experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
