Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an Export Sales Order Coordinator to manage export orders from initial enquiry through to delivery. As our Export Sales Order Coordinator, you will have a minimum of 2 years in sales order management and ideally some experience of managing export orders but not essential and you will be looking for a role that is offering a competitive salary, an exceptional benefits package and career progression.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Working closely with the Merchandise team, you will be responsible for the export order management process. Liaising with factories in China , managing the customs/shipping documentation & updating the customer, merchandisers and sales agents on order status and delivery dates.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You will have at least 2 years experience dealing with sales order management process and ideally with experience of overseas commercial customers so confident with relevant shipping documents, Bills of Lading, packing lists etc. Any knowledge of SAP would be ideal but not essential
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process warehouse export sales orders as required by the customer including EXW, FOB, DDP, CIF
- Using SAP to check for stock availability, updating export delivery note and invoice processing
- Export sales support administration for overseas based Export sales team
- Liaising with overseas factories in China and managing shipments from China to customers
- Creating new product forms, updating images and product details onto portal
- Stock management for forecasted orders
- Liaise with freight agents for collection and delivery of export orders
- Obtaining quotations from couriers, overnight transport and freight forwarders for Air/Sea/Road shipments and arranging bookings
- Coordinate logistics of export shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Handle all relevant documentation including Bills of Lading, packing lists, Certificates of Origin. Provide Track and Trace service to customers and generate shipment invoices and commercial agreements
- Ensure a high level of data integrity within shipments; acknowledging shipment details, INCOterms, routing, dates and documents etc
- Offering exceptional customer service, resolving any issues and handling any queries
SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
- 2 years experience managing commercial sales order process and ideally export sales orders
- Full awareness of all relevant export shipping documentation including Bills of Lading
- Excellent communication skills to deal with overseas customers
- A Team player who wants to share their knowledge and best practices for the benefit of the team
- Exceptional administration skills, to ensure all documentation is correct, minimising delays for order deliveries
- SAP experience ideal but full training on this system if required
