Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission!

You will play a fundamental part in building and developing successful, long-standing business relationships with new customers, providing consistently high levels of customer service until the account is well established. You are also responsible for increasing sales and managing accounts effectively.Â
Your target client base will be to network and visit local builders, joiners, interior designers, anyone who supplies kitchen builds to their own customers.
Whilst you’re responsible for building the customer base yourself, you will be sorted by an internal counterpart who will support the planning of your customer visits a week ahead and all ongoing account management.
The Role:
- Generating new business through proactively prospecting potential new customers to secure new business.
- Developing new accounts and new business, targeting small local builders, specialist kitchen trade professionals, and local developers.
- Establishing and creating new leads to expand the customer base.
- Promoting and selling products or services to new and existing customers.
- Conducting onsite Appointments.
- Working closely with the Internal Sales Developer.
- Developing excellent business relationships with customers.
- Working to meet various targets including account opening targets.
- Travelling extensively to build relationships, open accounts and increase sales.
- Focusing on customers’ needs to deliver exceptional customer service.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven track record in new business development in a field-based role.
- Experience within the KBB industry with strong kitchen product knowledge (advantageous).
- Sales and target driven.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Must be able to build and develop strong customer relationships.
- Active listening skills with excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills.
- Enthusiastic and high-energy, with plenty of charisma.
- Attention to detail, confident and pro-active.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively, with strong organisational skills.
- Confidence and the ability to maintain a positive mindset.
- Full UK driving licence
