We are seeking a competitive self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, to join our client’s rapidly expanding Sales team.

Job Description:

  • Build strong relationships with contractors, architects, and industry partners to generate new commercial sales and business opportunities.
  • Use company resources to research potential leads and engage in cold calling to create permanent sales.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with current customers to ensure satisfaction and continued business.
  • Track sales progress and update CRM with relevant information on leads, prospects, and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and communicate detailed product knowledge to effectively influence sales decisions.
  • Work closely with the Sales team, customer operations, and logistics to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals, KPIs, and performance targets.

Person Specification:

  • At least 1-3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials.
  • Confident and resilient individual who thrives in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and stay on top of sales opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and determined to meet or exceed sales goals, with experience in territory sales strategy execution.
  • Strong skills in presentation, negotiation, and closing sales.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team.
