• The role holder will manage need to have experience in the NEC contracts
• The role holder will need to have experience in tendering for complex packages of work and recommend for award based on a comprehensive review of submitted tenders
• The role holder will have experience in managing supplier payment applications
• The role holder will have experience in managing contractual changes including Early Warnings and Compensation events
• The role holder will have experience in cost forecasting and cost reporting
• Understand electronic sourcing software such as SAP, Ariba and Cemar

• Have a proven track record work in an environment where Health Safety and Environment are a priority
• A successful track record of working in the Construction Industry, developing main and sub-contracting strategies, working with strong stakeholder groups and influencing based on their in depth understanding of the construction market
• Demonstrable depth of procurement experience of at least 10 years in a post contract managed environment using NEC forms of contract.
• Good working knowledge of EU procurement methodologies, and UCR (Utilities Contracts Regulations).
• Independent, dynamic and ambitious individual with excellent negotiation skills, with ability to successfully project manage and deliver key contract negotiations.
• Ideally 3 years of relevant post contract management experience with ability to work across multiple contracts at any one time
• Demonstrable experience of managing complex contracts and working with suppliers through SLA and KPI performance and will have experience with dispute resolution and claims management.
• A proactive and commercial astute professional with excellent networking skills as well as strong Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management skills.
• Understand electronic sourcing software such as SAP, Ariba and Cemar
• Ideally qualified to degree level and RICS or MCIPS qualified or working towards.
