Description
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that align with the company's goals and mission.
- Lead and manage the marketing and agency department.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team across both organisations to advise on, and deliver, all areas of communication and engagement.
- Oversee the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
- Stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in communications, advocacy, and public affairs
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with the media, public relations and events coordinators to ensure coverage on local and national levels.
- Analyse and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies.
- Uphold the values and mission of the not-for-profit organisation at all times.
Profile
A successful Communications Manager should have:
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a marketing or communications department.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software (Photoshop, InDesign).
