CNC Machinist – Days

Salary: £14 - £18p/h (up to £34,440 per annum) + Overtime (paid at 1.5 x)
Working hours: 8 hour shifts Between 7:30am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)
Main Responsibilities
- Competent operation in programming and setting a variety of CNC lathe and mills, including 5-axis CNC machinery.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
- CMM quality reports (FAIR)
- Liaise and collaborate with other departments and implement solutions
- Provide ideas for process improvements
Experience and Skills required
- Reading Engineering Drawings
- Experienced working with 5-axis mill-turn machines and multi-channel
- Experience with Siemens Sinumerik Preferred
- A logical approach to problem-solving
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication with all levels of responsibility
- Experience of working within quality standards such as ISO 9001
