Our client based near Eccles, Salford is a major manufacturing company.
They require 4 experienced Process/ Production Operatives for a 6 month project.
Job Role:
Mixing/pressing chemicals and powder.
Small furnace work and ability to read engineering drawings>
Working to Standard Operating procedures.
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday:Â
37.5 hours per week for day shift whilst training 07.30 – 15.30. (3 - 4 weeks).
Then nights:Â
19.30 - 07.30 x 4 nights.
Occasional weekend work may be required - Paid @ time & half.
Experience required:Â
Ideally someone who has furnace experience.
Someone who is used to strict in process checks and used to good quality control techniques.Â
Able to demonstrate high attention to detail, as well as computer literate.Â
Manufacturing experience is necessary working to ISO standards.
Potentially suit someone who has worked in the food industry with tight controls.
Ideally you will have a NVQ qualification such as Performing Manufacturing Operations - level 2.
Pay rates:
PAYE - £16.00 per hour.
Umbrella: £21.00 per hour.
