The position offers a salary range of £32,000 - £38,000, along with a £350 per month car allowance and 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, increasing by one day each year for five years.
The role involves supporting clients on various platforms such as Mitel, Aruba, and Cisco, primarily serving major hotel chains like Marriott and Hilton.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of customer networks, VOIP, and related technologies, with preferred experience in Mitel, Cisco, and Aruba.
The ideal applicant should possess at least some experience in IT networking and be willing to travel across Manchester, Newcastle, and Scotland.

There is now a requirement for an IT Field Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will develop and become competent in the supporting of all the company’s products.

Field Engineer

Newcastle / Manchester

£32,000 - £38,000

£350 per month car allowance

23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising 1 day a year for 5 years.

About the Role

The role entails supporting clients on a variety of platforms & systems, including Mitel, Aruba, Cisco and others.

Our client base includes some of the largest hotel chains in the country, including Marriott, Best Western, Hilton and Holiday Inn.

Excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. You will have a good understanding of customer networks, VOIP, wi-fi, DHCP, DNS, and more.

The successful candidate will be required to travel from home to customer sites across Manchester, Newcastle and Scotland.

Requirements - Preferred but not essential:

Experience with the Mitel Platform
Experience with general VoIP/SIP concepts
Experience with general IT Networking, Cisco, DNS, DHCP
Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi solutions
Experience with Switches, Routers and Networks
