Rate: £450p/d - £500p/d

6-month contract – outside IR35 (Limited Co. / CIS)

 Northwest / Manchester / UK wide travel

Projects / Installations / LV Distribution / Water treatment / Process

Our client:

Our client is a leading UK Engineering, projects, and installations company, managing large EPC projects for major blue chip FMCG manufacturers UK wide. They are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager, for an initial 6-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

They are looking for a Project Manager to join their tea on a contract/interim basis to lead key project installations & electrical teams.

For the position of Project Manager - Electrical & Process, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

  • Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead the development of projects from initial design review, through to final commission and hand over
  • Assessing all electrical and Process existing site systems and set-up
  • Authority on all installation projects
  • Overseeing teams and Site Managers, making sure they have everything
  • Liaising with the client – design review, concept, quotations to completion
  • Managing major key clients (value ranging - £200k-£300k), 4-6 projects at any one time
  • Updating costs and programmes – working passes (Checking timesheets)
  • Ensure all site H&S aspects are considered - site RAMs / Permits
  • Reviewing AutoCAD based drawing (mods? / Tech dimensions?)

The successful Project Manager – Electrical & Process, will need to have the following attributes:

  • Apprentice trained ideally to NVQ L3/HNC Electrical Engineering minimum
  • AMP / AM2 Project Management
  • In-depth water treatment Industry projects & site experience
  • A strong communicator, Leader, organised, flexible mindset, strive for excellence
  • Travel covering all the North & Midlands, and possibly up to Scotland
  • Flexible to work in the office/on-site where required.
