£25 - £30 ph Umbrella

Hamilton Woods Associates are recruiting for an established housing organisation based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will oversee of x12 operatives, managing day to day repairs.

Responsibilities of the Repairs Manager:

  • Holding accountability for the leadership and management for the day to day repairs team when delivering works to social housing properties
  • Delivering outstanding performance, inspiring the team to develop and maximise their potential to deliver an excellent, value for money, reactive maintenance service
  • Conducting van stock and audit checks
  • Proactively monitoring performance within the team, evaluating training needs and qualification opportunities and addressing areas of underperformance where necessary
  • Continually identify future service challenges and opportunities and developing appropriate strategic approaches to address these
  • Identifying statutory Health and Safety obligations and ensuring these are met

Requirements of the Responsive Repairs Manager:

  • Relevant experience in a lead repairs role, preferably within a Housing Association setting
