- This growing working at height business is seeking an experienced Scaffolding Supervisor to join their business. This role requires someone with both scaffolding management and experience of working in an office as the role will be 70% site based and 30% office based so you will need to have office/computer skills as well as scaffolding experience. You will manage commercial and industrial projects, and a team of 8 plus scaffolders. The role will also require:
- Overseeing workload and manage a team of 8 Scaffolders
- Provide technical advice to Contracts Managers & Site Operatives
- Meet Client deadlines & expectations.
- Keep Clients updated on progress.
- Planning works from a point of order.
- Producing & submitting detailed RAMS & supporting documents to the Client.
- Organising labour, Plant & Materials.
- Pre-Start meetings with Operatives (internal).
- Pre-start meetings with Clients (external).
- Liaise with Operatives & Clients regarding the work & keep everyone updated as works progress.
- Daily Diary of works/progress being carried out.
- Assist with Operative, Client & Supplier disputes.
- Keep record and attend weekly inspections to prevent delays on site.
- Help team leader operatives with Load lists.
- Site Surveys.
- Source best pricing where possible.
- Assist with Recruitment & appraisals..
- Occasionally meet operatives out of hours to assist and discuss the project/job to start and occasially work away
Experience required:
- Commercial/industrial scaffolding supervising experience, either as a contracts manager, supervisor, foreman or team leader background
- Office based experience, including strong PC skills in MS Office, Excel and Word
- Commercial focused, able to manage budgets for each project.
- Happy to commute for projects and occasional weekend, evening work.
- People management experience
- Min site supervisor foreman, team leader, doesnt have to be multiple projects.
- Driving license essential
