We are working with an excellent business based in North Manchester who are looking to bring in a SHEQ Site Manager, the business are going through an excellent spell of long term, sustainable growth and are now looking to bring a SHEQ Site Manager into the fold who will be central to the process implementation and improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across sites.
SHEQ Site Manager - The Job:
- Produce the construction phase health and safety management plan along with all CDM associated documentation.
- To assist in the development and maintenance of the companies health and safety management systems and policies
- Liaison with the internal management team and external parties
- Assist in the completion of PQQs for new business tenders
- To liaise with client safety reps and regulatory authorities on all HSE issues
- Deliver continual improvement of practice to unlock gains in the SHEQ performance and mitigate risk that could occur through SHEQ related issues
- To monitor and report upon HSE performance in accordance with management reporting requirements, including the identification of areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
- To facilitate HSE visits from customers
- Assist, where needed with the development of the SHEQ management plans if applicable and coordination of review
SHEQ Site Manager - Background:
- CDM Awareness
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- A minimum of 5 years within a SHEQ role
- Have previous experience of a utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or general construction projects/contracts
- Understanding of HSE legislative requirements
- Understanding of environment aspects and impacts
