We are working with an excellent business based in North Manchester who are looking to bring in a SHEQ Site Manager, the business are going through an excellent spell of long term, sustainable growth and are now looking to bring a SHEQ Site Manager into the fold who will be central to the process implementation and improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across sites.

SHEQ Site Manager - The Job:

  • Produce the construction phase health and safety management plan along with all CDM associated documentation.
  • To assist in the development and maintenance of the companies health and safety management systems and policies
  • Liaison with the internal management team and external parties
  • Assist in the completion of PQQs for new business tenders
  • To liaise with client safety reps and regulatory authorities on all HSE issues
  • Deliver continual improvement of practice to unlock gains in the SHEQ performance and mitigate risk that could occur through SHEQ related issues
  • To monitor and report upon HSE performance in accordance with management reporting requirements, including the identification of areas of concern and opportunities for improvement
  • To facilitate HSE visits from customers
  • Assist, where needed with the development of the SHEQ management plans if applicable and coordination of review

SHEQ Site Manager - Background:

  • CDM Awareness
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • A minimum of 5 years within a SHEQ role
  • Have previous experience of a utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or general construction projects/contracts
  • Understanding of HSE legislative requirements
  • Understanding of environment aspects and impacts
