Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Manage day-to-day site operations.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities.
Health and Safety:
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies on-site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to team members as necessary.
Quality Control:
- Monitor and ensure the quality of work meets project specifications and standards.
- Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor project costs and manage budgets.
- Prepare and submit regular financial reports.
- Identify and address any potential cost overruns.
Client Liaison:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide regular updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software is an advantage.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
