My client is looking for an experienced Roofing Site Supervisor to join a growing team, working on a variety of new build roofing projects across the North West. This role offers a structured career development path, with direct mentorship from an experienced Site Manager to support your progression into a Site Manager position in the future.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site roofing teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Work closely with the Site Manager to oversee project delivery, safety compliance, and quality control.
- Gain hands-on training and experience to transition into a Site Manager role.
- Ensure all roofing works adhere to project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Assist in planning and scheduling work to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
- Work across a range of roofing systems, including Flat Roofing, Single Ply, Hot Melt, and Liquid Applied systems.
- Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and the wider project team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Roofing Site Supervisor, overseeing teams on construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of different roofing systems, particularly Flat Roofing, Single Ply, Hot Melt, and Liquid Applied systems.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to develop skills and progress into site management.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West as required.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Essential Certifications & Tickets:
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- Working at Height Certification
- CSCS Card (Gold or above preferred)
- First Aid at Work
- Manual Handling Training (preferred)
- Asbestos Awareness (preferred)
