This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage financials, risk management and client relations of assigned projects during pre-construction to issuing subcontracts.
  • Ensure Fire Mechanical standards of safety and quality are adhered to.
  • Champion Fire Mechanical's safety culture.
  • Mentor project team members.
  • Work collaboratively with project team.
  • Represent Fire Mechanical professionally.
  • Manage the project team successfully and collaboratively.
  • Conduct job site visits to review existing conditions.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team, Consultants/Designers/Engineers and subcontractors.
  • Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Develop bid scopes for trade packages.
  • Vet subcontractors to ensure compliance with bid scope.
  • Write and execute subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Manage project buy-out and subcontractor formalization.
  • Prepare take-offs and budgets with Project Estimators.
  • Develop preconstruction schedule and monitor progress.
  • Use project management and scheduling software consistently.
  • Develop construction schedule with field input.
  • Plan site logistics with field team input.
  • Conduct team meetings, client meetings and budget reviews.
  • Present job cost, scheduling and budget updates at regular intervals.
  • Ensure costs align with budget procedures during preconstruction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience on stages of delivery services
  • Experience in fire suppression / sprinkler installation would be advantageous
  • M&E project delivery or pre construction experience
  • Electrical or mechanical background.
