Role: Project Estimator

Location: Manchester

Setup: Hybrid (3 days in office - 2 days home)

The Company:

This award-winning FF&E Contractor works within the education space supporting some of the country's largest main contractors with new build and refurbishment for state of the art educational spaces. Projects value from £100k to £3m+.

The role:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed cost plans from Revit exports
  • Ensuring accurate project pricing and budgets
  • Analyse specifications to provide competitive estimates and maintain cost efficiency throughout projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate costs
  • Manage purchase orders, and track deliveries
  • Assist in the selection of FF&E products that meet project requirements
  • Collaborating with the design team to ensure quality, innovation, and budget alignment
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including product data sheets and cost plans
  • Prepare professional bid submissions and presentations, showcasing cost-effectiveness and design solutions to clients
  • Work closely with project and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery, offering support in planning, product selection, and training to maintain high-quality standards and performance.
