Carbon60 is working alongside a leading UK aviation company who are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for modification of a B777 from passenger to freight. The role will be responsible for ensuring the execution of the build plan. This will be managed accurately on a day to basis, working with different support teams to deliver parts, documentation, engineering and resources ensuring that all the projects run smoothly in on time. Key Duties & Responsibilities of Project Manager for B777- Manage build plans on a day to day basis, ensuring timely completion- Ensure effective communication for Planning, Supply Chain, Tooling and Engineering meeting the input schedule.- Communicate with the aircraft`s Check Managers and Zonal leaders allocating appropriate resources.- Complete P2F documentation in a timely manner.- Overseeing manhour and budget control of the P2F build plan.- Produce and communicate daily and weekly reports as requested.Skills and Abilities- Previous experience of successful Project Management - Minimum of 8 years aircraft experience.- Experience of Aircraft modification or planning experience-Thorough understanding of Aircraft structures and knowledge of manufacturing.
