Job Description:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking multiple Project Managers to join our clients vibrant Manchester-based Project Management team.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience, be self-motivated, and confident in a client-facing role. They will be responsible for managing multiple projects and clients, particularly in the refurbishment of offices/buildings and fit-out projects. Experience with JCT and NEC contracts is essential. A background in construction consultancy is also a preference.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver projects day-to-day, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
- Engage with clients and maintain strong relationships.
- Develop project management strategies and delivery plans.
- Establish effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and check valuations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project alignment.
- Manage sub-consultants and construction managers.
- Attend and chair meetings as necessary.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- Excellent verbal, numerical, and report writing skills.
- Strong communication skills, both with client teams and internal teams.
- Commercially astute with good negotiation skills.
- Flexible and able to work to deadlines.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and different stages of delivery.
- Experience with large project delivery (up to £1-2m).
- JCT and NEC contract knowledge.
- Experience working with refurbishment/fit-out projects.
