Project Manager required to deliver & deploy engineering solutions for a major UK utility company, managing projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards while acting as the primary point of contact for external customers. As Project Manager you’ll oversee all aspects of project execution and ensure seamless handovers to the customer support team post-completion.
£68,000 + parking, plus benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver engineering and SCADA system solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Apply project management methodologies to maintain control and efficiency.
- Handle industry regulations issues where required.
- Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in telecoms and automation.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager in the engineering /construction sector, managing external customer projects.
- Exposure to projects in SCADA control system solutions or automation very helpful.
- Demonstrable ability to manage projects using project management methodologies.
- Project management methodology, APMP / PRINCE2 or similar.
- Experience managing NEC contracts and CDM regulations is an advantage.
