Project Manager – Competitive Salary + Annual Bonus – Manchester (travel within the North West Region)

The Role

Are you ready to take on exciting civil engineering projects and deliver them successfully from start to finish? Do you have the skills and experience to manage programmes of work, ensure quality standards, and coordinate resources effectively? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee civil engineering projects across the North West, with a proven track record in delivering similar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing programmes of work to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, health, environmental, and quality performance.
  • Overseeing a range of projects including earthworks, soil stabilisation, site remediation, highways, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
  • Managing and coordinating direct resources, subcontractors, and designers.
  • Handling procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractors.
  • Supporting technical queries and managing engineers effectively.
  • Delivering projects under various contracts, including NEC and JCT Design & Build.
  • Ensuring compliance with civil engineering specifications.
  • Regular travel to project sites in the North West.

The Person

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an HND or degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Possesses a valid UK driving licence.
