Do you want to work on critical projects, where you will have authority over a team of eight highly skilled engineers and liaise with key stakeholders, clients and company Directors?

In this role you will lead a pre-construction Design Team, informing them of client requirements to help win business and contracts. This will involve engaging with clients during the early stages of project discussions, building relationships with these clients and leading the planning phase for the mechanical and electrical infrastructure in data centre projects.Founded in 1912, this UK-based company has evolved from an electrical contractor into a modern business focused on innovative technology solutions, specialising in the design, build, and maintenance of critical infrastructure and Data centres. They are positioned well for the AI revolution, with major projects already in progress.This role would suit a Project Manager or similar from a Critical Industries or Data Centre background looking for a career in a highly in-demand sector offering responsibility, autonomy and recognition.The Role:

  • Managing a Team of 8 Engineers working on Pre-Construction design during pre-tendering and bid stages
  • Liaising with clients face to face to understand requirements and pain points
  • Project cost control and budgeting
  • Responsible for profit and loss
