Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior P6 Planner to join our clients team on an exciting aviation project. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to capture and define the project work scope, ensuring it meets customer requirements. This will include the development of critical project structures such as Product Breakdown Structure (PBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Statement of Work (SOW), and Basis of Estimate (BOE). You will be responsible for maintaining, updating, and managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and address schedule issues within the project baseline (quality, cost, and time).
  • Coordinate live progress update sessions to gather accurate project status and make timely updates.
  • Analyse and produce monthly management information and reporting, including milestone slippage, critical path analysis, and resource availability.
  • Perform schedule variance analysis and escalate deviations as necessary.
  • Use Earned Value Management techniques when required.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Degree-qualified in relevant field (Project Controls, Planning, or similar)
  • Experience:
    • Strong understanding of project management within complex environments.
    • Expertise in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6.
    • Familiarity (or willingness to learn) with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices.
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Contractor experience is preferred but not essential.
