We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group HSEQ Manager to lead a Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality initiatives across multiple sites. As the Group HSEQ Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the implementation of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards to maintain a safe and compliant workplace for our employees, contractors, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HSEQ management, with the ability to drive continuous improvement, champion safety culture, and deliver operational excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and standards across all locations within the organization.
    • Provide leadership in all areas of HSEQ, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
    • Develop and drive the HSEQ strategy for the group, including continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Health & Safety Management:

    • Oversee risk assessments, safety audits, and investigations into incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
    • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSEQ regulations and standards.
    • Lead and/or facilitate safety training programs and toolbox talks to enhance employee knowledge and awareness.
  • Environmental Compliance:

    • Monitor and assess environmental risks and impact across company operations.
    • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and industry best practices, and oversee sustainability initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate environmental reporting and audits.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure that products/services meet the required standards.
    • Oversee audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality-related issues.
  • Team Development:

    • Mentor and guide HSEQ teams across various locations to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop a culture of safety and quality.
    • Oversee training programs and promote HSEQ awareness at all levels.
  • Reporting & Analysis:

    • Monitor and report on key HSEQ metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare detailed HSEQ reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
    • Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure continuous compliance with HSEQ standards.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HSEQ Manager or similar role, preferably within Transport and Logistics
  • A strong working knowledge of HSEQ regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
  • Relevant qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment, or Quality (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, H&S Management).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSEQ strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • A commitment to promoting a strong safety and quality culture across the organisation.
