Bridgeman Recruitment Services has been instructed to recruit for a Construction Health and Safety Manager. Reporting into senior management you will assist in the maintenance of the health and safety, environmental and quality systems and ensure regulatory compliance of a major Construction project in the Greater Manchester Area.
You the candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing support and independent advice and recommendations to the project manager and employees
- Ensuring that an effective contractor monitoring regime is in place and that contractors are working to the businesses standards for health and safety
- Assisting in the planning, communicating and implementation of the health and safety strategy - to ensure that an industry leading health and safety culture is developed
This role will ideally require an individual with at least some civils and construction experience, qualified in a construction or civil engineering discipline at an appropriate level (level 4 or above). The selected candidate will be appropriately qualified in health and safety at level 4 or above and should hold as a minimum a NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
