Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair faults in sophisticated electronic systems, proposing design improvements where necessary.
- Conduct unit testing and document repairs to ensure high-quality releases.
- Source components for repairs and assist in managing supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Test Engineers, Fitters) to resolve design and production issues.
- Support prototype assembly and testing of new designs.
- Raise Manufacturing Change Notes, permits, and Design Change Requests to streamline production and address issues.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEC61010, ISO13485, 21CFR820).
Candidate profile:
- Experience of electronics fault finding and repair inc. digital and analogue design
- Understanding of how to interpret schematic drawings
- Excellent communication skills
This role is offered on an initial 12 month contract with realistic potential for extension.
